GH APPLIANCES was founded by AHMED GOOLAM HOOSEN ESSACK back in November 1996 after been employed by Whirlpool/KIC for many years he took the step to open his own business. He humbly started his trading from Palmfield Road in Springfield Industrial Park as the official workshop for Whirlpool South Africa which specialized in the repair of domestic household appliances such as refrigerators and appliances and operated there till his passing in November 2006. The business was taken over by Mohamed Uzail Essack the youngest son of the founding member who was a part of the business operations from date of inception and was then expanded to include many other services such as the service and repairs to all types of commercial & industrial refrigeration & appliances, electronic audio visual equipment and small appliance repairs to their portfolio. Over the years the business has grown and we have now relocated to our new office situated at Unit 3 Soofie Bhaijaan Centre, 42 West Riding Row, Sherwood.
GH APPLIANCES is your one stop shop when it comes to repairs and servicing of all major domestic household refrigerators & appliances, audio visual electronic equipment, small domestic household appliances and various other repairs are undertaken as well by our qualified and dedicated team of technicians who combined have over 45 years of experience in the service and repair industry and have worked over the years for various major manufactures such as Whirlpool, Samsung, Defy, Sony, Sinotec to name a few and have been trained to carry out your repairs to factory specifications.
The most important part of our service to you our customer is our turnaround time which is normally +/- 2 days depending on the availability of spares for the various appliances and electronics that we repair.
